Needed to exchange something that was purchased 3 week prior as the item was too small. Only wanted to exchange this gift as partner works away so this was the first chance he got to trying it on. I asked about checking the till for the transaction as I had no receipt. The staff member said the transaction on the till doesn't go back that long '3 weeks' and rudly stated 'you haven't even got a barcode on the item.... It was a gift so I kept all tags on excluding the price!!Despite having no receipe I got the transaction from the online banking to prove the amount. He said how it's company policy that I only had 2 weeks and he doesn't want to loose his job over this. I was asking for this good will guesture, not a sob story..... Finally he agreed to do it rhis timw only 'wont be shopping here again anyways'...No policy on display anywhere.... in small print on the receipt it displays it. When I first purchased the item from a young lady, she didn't not smile let alone explain the returns policy.Over all the most shocking retail experience. I would be embarrassed to be employed at such a negative place, I have seen more personalities in a bowl of fruit.
