We bought a pair of headphones for 30 in the sale, and took out insurance as suggested at the time of purchase (Dec 18). We took them into the Bury store today and was served by Wayne, who confirmed they were faulty and they'd replace them.Wayne then said they didn't have the same model of headphones, & he was going to refund the previously bought insurance as it wouldn't be valid on the new pair and I would have to also pay 51p. I was a little baffled as I explained I know the trading standards laws and they have to replace or repair as they were just under a month old and it shouldn't be at any cost to me as the product was faulty.Every time I mentioned the TS laws to Wayne and Deborah the manager they kept ignoring me and referring back to the insurance ignoring my rights as a consumer.I have a very upset son who now has headphones that have to be charged prior to use which he is not happy with.We have used the Bury store for years rather than my local as always had great customer service but was absolutely shocked today.
Really happy with the staff and the prices at the store.The staff couldn't have been any more helpful if they tried.
