Just been to Owens restaurant for coffee and a snack very disappointed!!!I ordered potato skins off the special board and was served potato wedges which were horrible with cheese and salsa.I do like potato skins but not fat chips or wedges.My husband said that I should have complained and sent them back but I really don't like to make a fuss.It was definitely wrongly advertised.Extremely disappointed
Enjoyed our meal here. We took an Italian couple who thoroughly enjoyed trying things they had not eaten before. The food was tasty, attractively served and good value for money. It was a busy lunchtime but the staff were attentive and helpful. Definitely glad we had reserved a table as it was so busy.
Excellent food and service. Great location, we sat and watched the steam trains whole we were eating.Good selection of well made food at a reasonable price. Would certainly come again.Large dining areas but you can pre book to make sure you will get a table if your coming at a busy time like we did, Christmas markets.
Amazing breakfast. Really good quality food. Nice and quiet too, perfect for a Saturday morning. Staff are friendly, the food came quickly. Cant think of anything bad about it. Reasonably priced for the quality too :)
A very nice restaurant. A good range of mainly English dishes on the menu with items such as fishcakes, pies and lemon meringue pie with cream. The decor is nice and the staff were friendly and allowed us to take our time with the meal. The restaurant was busy but was not full. A very nice meal in nice surroundings. There is a car park around the side of the restaurant.
