Have been a patient of this practice for several years, always found the service professional and organised. Fortunately I dont usually need a GP very often but I have visited Dr Sacks on several occasions with a health issue and he was very thorough and professional in his examinations, referrals and follow ups.
Made an appointment over the phone only to find when I turned up everyone had gone home and they hasn't made the appointment at all. Been on hols over half an hour, tried again and got the phone put down on me. All I'm trying to do is make an appointment, impossible. Eventually I got through and there's no nurse appointments after 5pm! Ridiculous, avoid!
Failed to refer 2 of my children to occupation therapist, went into surgery receptionist booked me in for a Dr's phone consultation, I think she knew it hadn't been done after telling her I'd seen Dr with my child. After Dr's call she didn't even acknowledge or apologise for not doing the referral, she said she will refer but within a week I referred my children myself due to being excessively delayed, my kids are on a waiting list. Staff do appear unapproachable lack of compassion and respect
Not too difficult to get an appointment , in the past had a lot of locums but this is greatly improved , overall very good practice , I would recommend.
Dr Sacks has been very thorough and helpful. My recent experiences have been nothing but positive and I really feel like he's been proactive about sorting my long standing issues
