Used the Q-park in Bury as it was convenient for picking up a coach nearby. Lots of spaces, however, they are very tight with most involving park close up to a pillar, so ensure passengers disembark before attempting to enter a space I prepaid and was disappointed that I could only book an all day ticket, when really I only needed half a day. The half day ticket can only be booked for hours after 9. 00 am, no good to me as the pickup was earlier.On returning to the car park I discovered it would have been cheaper to pay on the day, I was also irritated that the barcode on my prepaid voucher wouldn't scan. I had to use the help, which took ages to be answered.
Car park is great and you can always find a space. However there seems to have been a change to card only payment but you only find this out when you come to pay.On my next visit as customer service is useless I will be feeding pennies into every slot I can find on your machines to be just as useless as you!..I am already one up on you as I have given you prior warning!!
I have been parking on Knowsley Place since it opened as it is convenient for my Doctors surgery. On Monday 13/08/2018 I had an appointment at 16:20 so I parked up. Upon returning to my car I saw that the pay machines are card only I had absolutely no idea that this was the case and only had cash on me. I pressed the buzzer for assistance and spoke to the girl on the intercom. There are no words to describe her other than rude and obnoxious. It wasnt my fault I didnt know about the payment change, and I was on the phone to my sister at the time trying to resolve the issue. She could hear how the assistant was talking to me. We both agree that she needs some interpersonal skills training as she was shocking. Some people are suitable to deal with the public......she most definitely isnt! I look forward to your response.
