If I Could I would give no stars. DO NOT GO WITH THESE ESTATE AGENTS!!!!They did no repairs on the house, we had to constantly ring up and tell them what needed doing but nothing got done what so ever. There was mould in the front room going up the walls, the fire place in the front room did not work so at winter it was FREEZING, yet they refused to come out to the fire place and get it sorted. They said they would send someone out but they nobody ever turned up. The temperature gauge in the boiler was knackered, we got messed around with the plumber they employed and he never came back with the part for the boiler even though we was told he would be back by the estate agents!!!!! So we had to run the tap upstairs on low so we could get some hot water. They do not take notes of appointments as we was due an inspection waited in all day, 45 minutes later after they should of turned up we ring up to find out nothing was even booked in and nobody was coming. Everything was just falling apart in the house, badly built and was even told there was mould before we moved in but it had been sorted out. Within a few months it was back due to them refusing to fix the fire place that was causing the mould in the front room as it was cold in winter! To top all of this off we saw a RAT in the kitchen when we was cooking a meal, this was the last straw. Rang up to complain to be told it was our problem and that they was not going to do anything about it!!! So we moved out the next day and have never looked back. Also got told the last tenants left on bad terms so Im assuming the rats were there on the day we moved in and they did nothing about this. Absolutely disgusted with the way we have been treated, we will never ever use this company again and advise anyone to stay well clear as they do not care about the clients or the houses they are letting!!! Heartbroke as they was our first home together and has really put us off. They seem to deal with problems asif they are some sort of joke?? You should be disgusted Pearson ferrier
Friendly enough staff and a professional service, but we have the standardised agency fees here which are being exploited by estate agents across the country. They're pretending this is "normal" (as well as slapping a 75 exit fee on contracts to look around a flat!), but the government has been expected to ban these "agency fees" for years. This being the Tories, there's been an enormous delay. This doesn't deter from the fact what estate agents like Pearson Ferrier are doing is theft. It is an insult to lose 250 in this appalling economy, when there's a housing crisis and it's impossible for young people (and many others) to buy a home, but these agencies effectively steal hundreds of pounds for a "credit check". Believe me, Pearson Ferrier, we know that is complete and utter garbage - it does not cost remotely near that much money to do that. You are lying, you are thieving from people in need, people facing financial difficulties in an austerity stricken country, and you should be utterly ashamed of it. This should not be considered "normal" - it should be considered a crime.Once the ban does come into effect, one of the expected outcomes is rent prices will go up to accommodate for the loss of agency fees. This, again, will be a further insult and the only outcome I can hope for is a revolt against the system, meaning renters will join together and stand up to estate agents and expose the pernicious nature of the industry. The result must be better rules and regulations. In its present state this cannot, and must not, go on.
Promised us they would fix the major issues wrong with the house. Had a contract stating they would fix them and yet they didnt fix one thing. Over charged for the run down house that was basically falling apart. We only took it as we were desperate. The minute we said we were moving out they started to fix some of the problems. We were also left without heat over the new year. It took them over a week to even get someone to look at the problem. Would recommend to avoid at all costs
Our experience of dealing with Pearson Ferrier in Bury has been absolutely spot-on. The house sold very quickly and we were kept informed at every stage. My wife and I are very happy with the service and would like to give an extra Thank-You to Iain Dawson who did a great job!... Highly recommended!...
After trying unsuccessfully to sell my property with other local estate agents, I gave Pearson Ferrier a try. I am delighted to say that their sales team is second to none and they actively sought out buyers for my property. The team kept me updated throughout the whole process and I would not use any estate agent other than Pearson Ferrier again.
